Hedvika Mousa Bacha is graduate of a musical class at Jan Neruda Grammar School under guidance of Hana Müllerová-Jouzová, then Prague Conservatory and continued at the Music Faculty of The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague where she studied with the famous Czech harpist Jana Boušková. She had one year of intensive traineeship in Lausanne, Switzerland, with Chantall Mathieu. Hedvika Mousa Bacha regularly continues her music education by taking part in master courses for harpists under the tutelage of the prominent French harpists, Isabelle Moretti and Isabelle Perrin.
In 1999 she won the competition “Music at High School” and in 2002 she also earned the Anna Hostomská award at Preludium, the young interpreters’ festival in Šumperk. Hedvika Mousa Bacha’s repertoire includes both compositions for solo harp and for harp and orchestra. She dedicates herself intensively to chamber music, cooperating with young talented artists such as violinist Monika Urbanová and violist Jitka Hosprová, with whom she used to have concerts in Czech Republic also in Germany, France, Switzerland and Hungary. In 2014 presented her first CD “Beanu Soir” compositions of French masters of impressionism and romanticism, was recorded together with violinist Monika Urbanová. 2020 as a Duo Beautiful Strings they recorded their second CD “Pearls of the 20th century”.
