Drahomíra Matznerová studied Organ by Prof. Hora, Prof. Tůma and Prof. Ropek, she graduated not only at Prague Conservatory and Prague Academy of Music, but she also took part in master classes in Netherland and France. She is the organist of the Church of Infant Jesu of Prague, since 1996 she has been the organist for ceremonies at New Town Hall, too. Romantic organ music of French origin constitutes the focal point of her repertoire. She gave number of prestigious concerts (solo recitals at festivals as Prague Spring or Chamber Music Festival Český Krumlov are) inclusive of performance of the Concert for Organ and Orchestra by Francis Poulenc; she made a lot of recordings for Czech Radio and Czech Television, too. Besides solo playing, she also accompanies various ensembles, with which she has performed number of masses and oratorios.
