Jana Eisenhammerová is a graduate of the Gymnasium and Music School of the City of Prague and the Jan Deyl Conservatory. She plays recorders and clarinet. She won several awards in Czech and foreign interpretation competitions. She currently teaches at the Jan Hanuš Elementary Art School in Prague and studies theory and performance practice of old music at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno. She regularly takes part in the Summer School of Early Music in Valtice, sooner also in the Summer School of Early Music in Prachatice, Ludmila Peterková’s clarinet courses in Domažlice or Jiří Stivín’s CAP-ART improvisation weekends. Currently, she primarily plays in chamber ensembles of early music.
